Finally! Alia Bhatt’s Mother Opens Up About Her Daughter’s Wedding Plans With Ranbir Kapoor

The year has been quite a romantic one for our Bollywood celebs and we have enjoyed every moment of it. From long-term couples taking their eternal vows (hey there, Rhea Kapoor and Karan Boolani) to actors making their relationship Insta-official, we saw it all. And, it’s not over! If the stars are in our favour (quite literally), then we might see some more B-Town weddings happening soon. As per the grapevine, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekha are all set to tie the knot in November (OMG!) and Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are already planning their roka.

While these updates are making us jump with joy, there might be something that can be a major bummer for us. It seems that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding that was apparently all set to happen in December is off the table now. If you just heard a crackling sound, then yes, it’s our hearts!

During a recent interview with a leading daily, Alia’s mother, Soni Razdan, said that she’s not aware of her daughter’s wedding plans. She said, “Even I don’t know when it’ll (the wedding) happen. Even I’m waiting for some information.”

Soni also added that there’s plenty of time to the much-awaited #Ralia wedding and said, “Well, there’s a lot of time left. It’ll happen some time in the future, and that’s a long way off. Now, when it’ll happen, I don’t know. Maybe, you’ll have to call Alia’s agent for that, but even her agent might not know.”

It seems that neither Soni nor Alia’s agent know when the cutest couple of Bollywood are tying the knot and that’s making us so curious. In an interview earlier with journalist Rajiv Masand, Ranbir had said that his shaadi got postponed because of the pandemic. He said, “It would’ve been sealed had the pandemic not hit our lives. I don’t want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick-mark that goal very soon in my life.”

We don’t want to jinx anything either, but we hope that this ‘soon’ arrives sooner than we expect!
