The trailer for the latest Alia Bhatt starer Raazi hit the interweb last week. The film has already garnered a lot of buzz for its splendid visuals, an engaging plot and intense performance by its actors. Raazi is directed by Meghna Gulzar and will be hitting the theatres on May 11th. If you haven’t yet seen the trailer, watch it below:
Apart from the intriguing stills, one thing struck a chord with us, eagle-eyed fashion fiends, is the use of the colour blue in the film. In just the trailer, Alia is dressed in many shades of blue and we anticipate this regal colour to play a big part in the tone of the film! If that wasn’t convincing enough, the actress stepped out in another navy blue floral anarkali by The House Of Kotwara in the true Indian spirit with the team colour. Paired with Amrapali earrings and Needledust juttis, the actress looked stunning today:
Call us crazy, but there is definitely something going on with Alia’s costumes in the film and her choice of outfits to promote the same. we won’t be surprised if there is one, a lot of big directors have used colours to give their movies a voice with no words. Whether it is with the actor’s costume design of the colour palette of the frames itself. Whether our speculations have any weight in them, we’ll have to wait and see.
