Recently we got a glimpse of her as an antagonist in the trailer and gotta say, she looks like a total baddie! Meanwhile, Alia is making sure to keep up with the glamm quotient for her promotional outings. Be it her laid-back airport outfits or her classy green gown, we are in awe of her impeccable outfits. But for us the best from the lot is her pink OOTD.
For one of her promotional outings, Alia decided to make the most of the Barbiecore era in an all-pink outfit from Ganni. She paired a satin pink bralette with a matching slit skirt and layered over an oversized blazer to complete her look. Furthermore, she went with her statement natural makeup look and a messy bun to tie it all together. The statement black heels from Rene Caovilla also added oomph to her look.
Now, of course, in no time people pointed out how Alia Bhatt’s Barbiecore outfit reminds them of Deepika Padukone. Before we tell you what they said, let us give you a lowdown of DP’s look. In Dec 2022, DP embraced the Barbiecore trend when she wore a Magda Butrym outfit at one of Ranveer Singh’s film promotions. But unlike Alia, DP went with a pantsuit that she paired with a half-up hairdo, bold eyes, and statement jewels.
Many social media users voiced their thoughts on both looks. Some felt that Alia Bhatt’s outfit was definitely not it and DP did a fab job. Others felt that the ill-fitted blazer didn’t work in Alia’s favour. On a thread, one user commented, “I wasn’t a fan of Deepika in that suit.
