If there’s ever a minimal makeup hall of fame, Alia’s beauty looks belong in it. The star has already made 2022 her year for new looks – first came her dreamy bridal look, and now we’re obsessing over her ability to pull off summer’s hottest makeup trend like a total boss. Far from impractical, Bhatt’s all-peach makeup look offered a vibe, and we’re rolling with it.
The look featured a wash of colour over the eyelids, flushed cheeks, and a glossy pout – all in shades of peach. We already know that peach is the hot Summer trend, but Alia took it to the next level by pairing it with skin resembling a glazed donut. Alia’s glowy makeup look is very copyable for summer. It works well across occasions and looks gorgeous IRL and on camera. So for those itching to copy this look (guilty!), get ready to bookmark this story. Prep the face with a moisturiser that hydrates, plumps, and brightens the skin for makeup application. Then, apply an illuminating primer or a facial oil all over the face. Apply foundation with a damp beauty sponge, starting in the center of the face and on the apple of the cheeks, and then blend outwards. Apply concealer under the eyes and on any areas that need coverage.
Fill in your brows with a pencil and then brush them up. Then, use a brow gel to set it into shape.
Apply a coral-peach eyeshadow all over the lids. Then, use a tapered blending brush and apply a slightly darker shade on the crease, and buff and blend them in together. For a hazy, cloud-like effect, buff out the edges. Using a domed shadow brush, apply the same shade on the lower lash line. Then, curl your lashes and use mascara on the top and bottom lashes.
Apply the cream blush right where your cheek looks the most round. Blending upward along the cheekbone adds more depth.
For dimension, blend a creamy highlighter into the high planes of the face, like the cheekbones, temples, and cupid’s bow. Last, set your face with a quick spritz of a setting spray. Spray to seal in your handiwork and you’re good to go.
Line the lips with a nude lip liner to ensure that the lipstick won’t bleed, and then fill them in with coral-peach lipgloss that works for your skin tone.
Copy this makeup look and you’ll be set for any party.
