Dhol bajne laga, B-town sajne laga…! Yes, we are indeed talking about the most awaited bash of the year—Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal‘s shaadi. The couple announced their wedding back in 2020, but life had other plans. Since then we have been waiting for the lovebirds to get hitched so that we can feast our eyes on their shaadi snaps.
Finally, it’s happening and we have all the juicy deets about Ali and Richa’s wedding festivities! A little birdie just told us that the couple has roped in a wedding planning company to make their wedding ceremony eco-friendly. Ali and Richa have been involved with various social causes and that’s why we aren’t surprised to see them take a no-waste route for their shaadi. From repurposed wood decor to a zero food waste policy, Ali and Richa are going the extra mile to make their wedding extra special.
Richa & Ali’s Hella Quirky Wedding Invite
Earlier this week a picture of Richa and Ali’s quirky wedding invite went viral on the ‘Gram. The wedding invite features a kitschy sketches both the stars riding bicycles and the invite is designed in the shape of a matchbox. The text printed on the same reads “Couple Matches.” Simply put, the invite is hella cool and iconic.
Richa Spills The Beans On The Shaadi Plans
Last month, Richa confirmed that she and Ali would tie the knot this year itself. In an interview, she shared, “I think shaadi ho jaegi iss saal. Kar lenge kisi tarah se (I think we will get married this year, somehow.) We’re very excited to get married but (we are) just worried about Covid and want to be responsible. We don’t want to be in the news for the wrong reasons. Plus, we’ve both gotten really, really busy when stuff opened up, and work resumed at full pace. So I’m saying we have to like do a live production job of taking combination dates and making this happen this year.”
