We just witnessed one of the most eventful days of the Cannes Festival Festival 2023 and doubt if it gets any more eventful than this. For real! From Aishwarya Rai to Mrunal Thakur, all the fashion biggies made an appearance on day three of the Festival de Cannes and left us talking with their looks. Some of them were nice, some blah, and some simply outstanding. Here’s a lowdown of the best and the worst looks:

Mrunal Thakur—Baddie In A Hoodie!
This is Mrunal Thakur’s first year at Festival de Cannes and the actress has been making sure that this won’t be her last. She has been dishing out stunning looks one after the other and I specifically like this boho Anamika Khanna set. This custom-made set has my heart for the asymmetrical skirt and the hood just adds the right amount of drama. Huge shoutout to stylist Rahul Vijay for keeping Mrunal’s OTT fits nicely balanced with the right shoes and accessories!
Manushi Chillar—What A Comeback!
While Manushi’s first look for Cannes might have left the fans underwhelmed, this look more than makes up for it. The sky-blue Nedret Taciroglu dress suits her well. The ethereal layers and the asymmetrical cut work together to give it a dreamy appeal. This is a gorgeous dress and Manushi’s gold accessories are nicely bringing the entire look together. Kudos Sheefa J Gilani!
Esha Gupta—Effortlessly Stylish!
Esha is not trying too hard to kill it at Cannes and that’s what working in her favour. This stunning all-black look is proof! The Galvan London dress fits here like a glove and that neck detail is to die for! Victor Blanco has killed it in the styling department. Esha legit looks like an international star!
Aishwarya Rai—Drama Mama!
This is a strong look, but not to everyone’s taste. That’s okay as long as it works for Aishwarya and it did! The look has the internet talking and the actress is currently trending on Twitter. The dramatic Sophie Couture gown has done what it what supposed to do. A win!
Misses
Aishwarya Rai—Hot Mess!
See, this is the thing with Aishwarya Rai attending Cannes. She is everywhere including both the worst and best-dressed charts. Aish’s opening look for Cannes fell flat owing to its unflattering silhouette and blinding glitter.
Urvashi Rautela—Loofahcore!
Browse through Urvashi’s red carpet look at Cannes (both 2022 and 2023) and you’d be shook by how she has been consistently dressing up like a loofah. Her tulle ruffles are kinda getting tiring and it is high time she tries something new. That said, this mess of a look is a tad much even by Urvashi’s standards. The busy gown, the chunky necklace, the blue lipstick—too much is going on with this look.
Here’s hoping the desi divas take a style game a notch higher with their day 4 looks!
