It’s been more than two weeks since the shocking demise of Sidharth Shukla and it is yet to sink in. Looking at his smiling face in all the videos that are currently going viral on social media makes it all the more difficult. Just writing about it feels so surreal. Sidharth is no more and he has left a huge void behind. If it has been so difficult for us to come to terms with his death, we can only imagine the pain and anguish that his family might be dealing with at the moment. Our heart specifically goes out to Shehnnaz Gill, the sweet, innocent girl who had made Sid the centre of her universe.
In the past couple of weeks, all of us have seen pictures and videos of Sana from Sidharth’s funeral. The actress looked visibly devasted and since then we have been praying for her well-being. Thankfully, Sid’s mom, Rita Shukla has been a strong support system for Shehnaaz and is now ensuring that she gets over the loss and starts her life afresh. Abhinav Shukla who recently visited them at Sidharth’s house has confirmed the same. Quashing all the rumors about Shehnaaz being in a pathetic condition and on the verge of hospitalisation, he has shared that the actress is better and coping well. “I pray and wish all the strength to Shehnaaz Gill and Sidharth Shukla’s family. I and Rubina met her mother and she is coping well. I pray that god assuages their anguish,” says Abhinav.
Just earlier this week, another source had talked about the same in a media interaction. They shared, “Shehnaaz has been in a state of shock and totally broken. But Sidharth’s mother Rita aunty has been her rock of Gibraltar. She has been strong herself and has been helping Shehnaaz to mourn and move on. She also feels that the best way for Shehnaaz to come out of this loss will be to immerse herself in work and therefore she has been counselling her to get back to work soon, start meeting friends and lead a normal life.”
This is a rather relieving update. All this while, rumours about Shehnaaz being in shatters were doing rounds. It was also being said that Sana wasn’t eating or sleeping well and needed to be hospitalised. Well, we are so glad that she is coping well and is preparing to return to work now. Here’s hoping that she stays strong and makes a solid comeback!
