The former couple recently came together to celebrate their son’s ninth birthday with so much love! Earlier this year, Aamir and Kiran left their fans in shock when they announced their separation. The former couple shared a joint statement that read, “We just want to say that we both are extremely happy and are still one family. Our relationship has changed but we are still together in a way. And Paani Foundation is like Azad, our kid. So we will always stay together as a family. Pray for our happiness. That’s all we wanted to say.”
Aamir and Kiran added that they have shared a lifetime of experiences, joy and laughter, and their relationship has only grown. They concluded the statement with, “Now we would like to begin a new chapter in our lives — no longer as husband and wife, but as co-parents and family for each other”
Honestly, it is refreshing to see a former couple maturely navigating the separation and handling it sensitively. In the last few months, Kiran and Aamir have been spotted together at various events and they always appear comfortable with each other. Moreover, the Dhobi Ghat director is also the producer of Aamir’s upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha. During the film’s shoot, the two worked as a team and even shared a number of pictures.
One can surely take tips from Aamir and Kiran for being the most loving parents in the world.
