It is often said that if you don’t have anything kind to say, it is best to stay mum. It appears that Pakistani actor and YouTuber Moammar Rana should have taken this suggestion. Recently, the actor made a series of comments about Priyanka Chopra’s appearance and they are outrageous. While everyone is entitled to their opinion, making rude comments about someone’s looks is unacceptable.
During a podcast with Nadir Ali, Moammar talked about celebs who look ‘bhayanak (horrible)’ IRL. The Pal Do Pal actor shared, “This happened to me when I saw Priyanka Chopra. I didn’t know, we were sitting (at an event). A woman came and sat on the side. We were talking amongst ourselves. I moved forward and backwards, wondering where I should go. After a while, she got up and left. I inquired about who she was.”
Nadir chimed in and said, “Maid hai ki kya hai?” Moammar added, “‘You didn’t recognise her?’ I said no. Turns out, it was Priyanka Chopra who was seated.” The actor claimed that meeting PC killed his crush on her.
It is hard to believe how people think it is okay to reduce a woman to just her looks. I believe beauty is always subjective, no woman should be talked about in such a crass manner. Moreover, Priyanka has been ruling the globe and impressing everyone with her magnetic screen presence. She has nothing to prove to anyone! From Miss World to Bollywood to Hollywood, there is nothing PC hasn’t done. Everything that she has achieved is an inspiration for millions.
