Known for her stellar fashion choices and badass clap backs, Esha Gupta never shies away from creating a stir. The Rustom actress has been setting the temperature soaring with her dare-to-bare outfits lately, and we’re in awe of how stunning her ‘Gram feed has been looking. But it seems like Esha’s sartorial fashion statements are all Greek to the trolls.
Esha recently shared some pictures with her ‘Gram fam where she could be seen slaying in a jersey crop top and skimpy black G-string. Flaunting her hot bod, she wrote, “Everywhere Juve on my mind, now all amped-up for the Azzurre this FIFA Women’s World Cup” Unfortunately, her stunning pictures didn’t sit well with social media trolls.
Instead of appreciating Esha’s off-duty look, people started giving her lessons on her ‘dressing sense’. While some tried to educate her about ‘culture’, others made sure to ruin her shining moment by dropping tasteless comments. Take a look:
While we couldn’t mention some of these disgusting AF comments here, trust us when we say that these pseudo-flag-bearers of ‘culture’ left no stone unturned to pull Esha down.
Amidst this shitshow, I just have one thing to ask these faceless trolls: Why do women’s clothes trigger you so much? At this point, it feels like trolls would go to any extent to push women back into the same mould that they have been put in for centuries by patriarchy. A person’s character is judged by how they treat others and how they adhere to their values, not by what they wear! It is high time we all understand this.
It stuns me to think that we, as women, are still expected to be answerable about our clothing choices 2023!
