It’s not April, but Karan Johar recently played the biggest prank of the year on us. ICYMI, he shared an announcement on his Instagram handle and revealed that his talk show, Koffee With Karan, would not return for a new season. He wrote, “Hello, Koffee with Karan has been a part of my life, and yours, for 6 seasons now. I’d like to think we have made an impact and even found our place in pop culture history. And so, it is with a heavy heart that I announce that Koffee with Karan will not be returning…”
NGL, his message broke our hearts.
But, within a few hours, KJo said ‘gotcha’ and proved that his middle name should be ‘drama’ with a capital D. Yes, the filmmaker was kidding. He announced that KWK would not return on Star World, but exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar soon.
Well, Karan played us all, but you know what? We forgive him because he has given us the best surprise ever. He has promised in his note that season 7 of the show would host some of the biggest stars of the entertainment industry and we cannot wait to see them.
