Whether it’s a relationship, a book or a show, when a good thing comes to an end, it makes our hearts twinge a little. After all, saying goodbye to the things we love is not easy. It’s a bittersweet feeling that we accept gracefully to move ahead. Well, we bid adieu to several shows in 2021 and NGL, some of them made us quite emotional.
There were series that we watched for years and also those that had a short but amazing run. Some of them had the perfect ending and the others were just blah. Many of these serials had run their course and ended at the right time. There were some shows that could have entertained us for at least a few more seasons.
Well, all in all, it was a pretty interesting year for the entertainment industries around the globe and we enjoyed every bit of it. We’re sure that these ends will lead to new beginnings and we will see some pretty interesting shows next year as well. Before that, let’s rewind a little and check out the shows that aired their very final episodes in 2021:
7 Amazing Shows That Ended In 2021
Here are 7 English and Hindi shows that entertained us for years and said goodbye to us this year:
Money Heist
The second and final heist organised by The Professor came to an end this year and it was a success. The gang robbed the Bank of Spain and walked out of it after cracking a twisted deal with the government. The fifth and final instalment of the series released on December 3 and we have to say, it was just the perfect ending we could have hoped for. BTW, don’t get disheartened because as we said, endings lead to new beginnings. Netflix has announced a Money Heist spin-off with Berlin in the leading role and it will release in 2023. *So excited!*

The Bold Type
The Bold Type will always remain a show that every working millennial woman should watch at least once. The five seasons revolved around Jane, Kat and Sutton, who worked in a media organisation. Over the years, we watched the trio evolve, find their passion, grow in their careers and manage the ups and downs of their relationships. This series was too relatable and honestly, we didn’t want it to end.

Keeping Up With The Kardashian
Raise your hand if you love cringe content and don’t be shy ‘coz our hands are already up in the air. We love drama with a capital D and Keeping Up with The Kardashians gave us exactly that for more than a decade. Well, the Kardashian and Jenner sisters said goodbye to us this year and NGL, we’ve already started re-watching all the 20 seasons. The reality show based on their life is so bad that it’s actually good.
Where to watch: Netflix
Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Brooklyn Nine-Nine was one of the best comedy shows ever and no one can deny that. The show proved that comedy doesn’t have to be dark or dirty to make us laugh. It was inclusive, sweet and had characters that we will never forget. The eight seasons ended in a jiffy and we’re going to miss it!
Where to watch: Netflix
Lucifer
The devil’s love story finally came to an end and honestly, the final season was quite a mess. Lucifer and Chloe tried to change their future and made it more complicated. In the sixth and last season, he returned to hell, turned into a therapist (what even?!) and reunited with his love once she died. All we can say is, all’s well that ends well.

Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani
Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani aired its final episode in July 2021 and we need its season 2 stat. This daily soap was quite refreshing and broke several stereotypes that our society still promotes. From calling out the problematic rituals of marriage to showing us a modern-day love saga, the show did it all.
Where to watch: Disney+Hotstar
Shaadi Mubarak
The show was about a single mother standing against her own family to get back her self-respect. It was about her journey that helped her discover herself and find love once again. Manav Gohil and Riti Pandey did a fab job in the leading roles and we liked how the daily soap was not OTT dramatic.
