When she said that she doesn’t believe in Islam
Uorfi got into a controversy when she revealed that she doesn’t believe in any religion. When asked if she’d marry a muslim guy, she refused and added that trolls often want to control the women of the community. People were enraged at her answer and trolled her for the same.
When Uorfi landed in legal trouble
Uorfi was seen wearing a bold outfit for her song Haye Haye Yeh Majboori, and many viewers got a chance to slam her for her dressing choice. In fact, one of them even filed a complaint for “publishing or transmitting of material containing sexually explicit act in electronic form.”
When she slammed the ‘Anupamaa’ actor
The buzz started when Uorfi shared a topless video, wearing only a lehenga on Diwali. Many people including the Anupamaa actor Sudhanshu Pandey commented and disregarded her for not respecting an auspicious day. But Uorfi retaliated. She wrote, ‘The Irony, Anupamaa is a show about women empowerment where a woman is shattering all the ‘normals’ set by society for women. Why don’t you watch your own show Sudhanshu? 😉 Might learn something @sudhanshu_ pandey.”
When Kashmera Shah tried to school Uorfi
It started when Kashmera said that ‘Urfi is famous on Instagram but not in real life’. She even told the paps ‘Main Urfi ko jaanti hu. Yeh vahi ladki hai na jise watchman ne thode din pehle nikaala tha. Nahi nahi, road par photos khichne se mana kiya tha. Haan mujhe uske liye bura laga tha. Isliye main bolti rehti hoon ‘Beti padhao beti bachao’. Agar ye educated hoti to ye nahi hota..’ But our girl didn’t shy away from retaliating and posted a long story on the gram shutting down Kashmera.
When Uorfi slammed the paparazzi
She recently lost her cool with the paparazzi after someone made a vulgar comment about her outfit. Reportedly, a guy screamed ‘aaj dhang ke kapde pehen ke aayi hai’ when she made an appearance on a dance show. Uorfi got really pissed over this and said, ‘.tumhe agar kapdo pe comment karna hai na apni girlfriend aur apni ma behen ke ghar pe jake karo. Mere kapdo pe koi comment nahi karega aaj ke baad’.

When she shut down Chetan Bhagat for his ‘Youth Distraction’ comment
Recently the famous writer Chetan Bhagat called Uorfi a ‘distraction’ for the youth. To this, the latter slammed him through his Insta story. She wrote, ‘I don’t understand one thing, what was the need to mention my name at a literature festival, I’m not even an author, mera koi lena dena nahi.’
