Gullak
It is the story of a quintessential middle-class Indian family! Gullak will make you laugh and cry. The show will remind you of simpler days and if you are a millennial then you’ll surely relate a lot.
Panchayat
I don’t even remember the number of times I have watched this show with my parents. The story is simple, college graduate Abhishek takes up a job at the Panchayat office in a village called Phulera, but the catch is he hates his job. Just like Anshuman in Jab We Met, yaar usko nahi dekhne khet, but destiny has other plans for Abhishek.
Yeh Meri Family
As a 90s kid, this show is one of my favourites. It is based on the life of a young boy named Harshu growing up in the 90s. It will make you go through your childhood slam books and photo albums once again.
Queen
If you are looking for a political thriller then you must check out Ramya Krishnan starrer-Queen. It is loosely based on the life of the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa and it is highly addictive!
Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humaare
Zakir Khan at his finest! If you are a fan of the comedy star, you’ll love this show instantly. The series follows the life of small-town neta Ronny bhaiya who is allegedly the nephew of an MLA. The show is full of sweet moments, hilarious sequences and more.
