Bigg Boss 15 had a mixed bag of reviews. While some viewers believed it was thoroughly entertaining, a large section were also disappointed with the unnecessary twists and turns. But regardless of how one feels about season 15, there’s no denying there were several moments that kept us glued to our screens. Whether it was budding romances or drama between co-contestants, these instances are still engrained in our brains. So ahead of Bigg Boss Season 16, here’s a break down of the six moments from the previous season that stay in our minds rent free.
Unfair Eviction Of Umar Riaz
Honestly, we’re still unsure if we’re over this elimination yet. Umar was one of the most loved contestants of BB history and it came as a shock to the audience when he asked to leave the show after a physical altercation with Pratik Sehajpal. Many took to social media to point out the hypocrisy of the situation. They stated that other contestants who got physical in the past were given a free pass, but the same courtesy was not shown to Umar. NGL, we totally side with the audience on this one.
Brewing Romances
It’s not surprising to see BB contestants form bonds after spending so much time together in a house. However sometimes, these bonds also translate into romantic relationships. Season 15 saw its fair share of budding romances from Meisha Iyer-Ieshaan Sehgal and Shamita Shetty-Raqesh Bapat. But out of the many, #TejRan is undoubtedly our fave! Tejasswi Prakash and Karan Kundrra had our hearts. Though they had silly fights during their stint at the BB house, they never failed to support each other whenever needed. By the end of the show, they had become each other’s safety net.
Constant Battle

If there was one pair during season 15 who were always butting heads, it was Tejasswi and Shamita Shetty. Tejasswi didn’t like Shamita for getting too close to her BF. Shamita, on the other hand, always thought Tejasswi’s behaviour towards her was cold and rude. These women never left an opportunity to indulge in an ugly spat. And their rivalry was so strong, that they even fought on the day of grand finale.
The ‘Aatankwadi’ Fight
One of the worst fights we’ve seen in the BB house was the one between Simba Nagpal and Umar Riaz. During a conflict between the two, Simba labled Riaz as an ‘aatankwadi‘ (terrorist) and this led to an uproar on social media. Many netizens slammed Simba for using the word and even criticised him for advising Riaz not to wear surma (Kohl, a type of eye liner).
Mentor – Mentee Fallout
Karan and his co-contestant Pratik Sehajpal had an amazing relationship at the start of the season. Karan was Pratik’s senior and the latter respected him as a mentor. However, their bond hit rock bottom when one verbal fight soon turned physical. Many netizens were also disappointed that the makers didn’t do anything abut the violence in the house. Others also slammed the show for keeping mum about the incident and not seriously reprimanding either contestant while Umar was evicted for a mere push.
One was thrown out just for pushing & the other one was not even scolded for doing an act of extreme physical violence. How is this fair if the very basic rule of bb is not to get physical?

Before her entry into the BB house in season 15, Rakhi Sawant had announced to the world that she tied the knot with her then BF, Ritesh Singh. However, many netizens were unsure if this was true since no one had seen pics of the mystery husband.
