TV actor Shaheer Sheikh and wife Ruchikaa Kapoor, the head of Ekta Kapoor’s film division, are one couple that we simply cannot get enough of. From the fuss-free pandemic wedding to their cutesy Instagram PDA, the duo manages to give us major #CoupleGoals every single time. Even their journey together, from friends to partners, was nothing short of a fairy tale.

Shaheer and Ruchika had met through common friends, were absolutely smitten with each other, and had started dating soon after. And after a courtship of a year-and-a-half, the pair decided to get hitched in November last year. They have come a long way since then. The couple is all set to embrace parenthood now. Yes, you read that right! We’re delighted to share that the popular couple is expecting their first child.

Understandably, the two are over the moon and are looking forward to this new and exciting phase of their lives. A little birdie also told us that Ruchikaa is in the first trimester of her pregnancy. “Shaheer is known to keep a low profile in the media and doesn’t like to talk about his personal life. He has been tight-lipped about the pregnancy, keeping in mind the current pandemic situation in the country. Ruchikaa is in her first trimester. They’re both looking forward to embracing this new phase in their lives,” revealed a friend close to the couple.

While the lovebirds are yet to make an official announcement, their fans have been overjoyed with this piece of information. We know that we certainly are! We’re also looking forward to their pregnancy shoot pictures. Knowing them, it’s going to be every bit as adorable as the two of them!
