Mouni Roy Is Set To Her TV Comeback After 5 Years & We Know All About Her New Project

Mouni Roy seems to be on a roll—both in her personal and professional life.  On the personal front, the actress is reportedly busy with her shaadi preps ATM. She’s apparently getting hitched to her longtime boyfriend Suraj Nambiar in goa this month. On the work front, Mouni was last seen in the film, Velle and is currently awaiting the release of her movie, Brahmastra alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. She may be making it big in Bollywood, but we miss seeing her light up our TV screens. If you’ve been waiting for Mouni to make a comeback on TV, you’re in for a treat! The Gold actress is all set to judge the next season of the dance reality TV show, Dance India Dance Little Masters, and we’re feeling excited AF. 

While talking to a leading daily recently, Mouni opened up about being a part of the talent show. She said, “For me, dance is an expression. It is an amalgamation of various art forms. I am incredibly excited to be a part of Dance India Dance Little Masters as a judge. I can’t wait to watch the young kids showcasing their talent on such a huge platform.” 

For those wondering why Mouni was staying away from TV, it’s because she did not want to commit to a project that would take too much of her time. “I didn’t quit TV, but it was just a matter of commitment. As an actor, I aspire to play versatile characters. However, a project on TV translates into a commitment for a year or two. Now, that’s something I had alienated myself from for a while. But becoming a part of this show feels just right. I love dancing and kids,” she explained. We’re so glad she said yes to the show and can’t wait to watch her on TV ASAP. Here’s hoping the makers of DIDLM give us the release date soon.
