Kanika Kapoor-Gautam Hathiramani’s Reception Got Poora ‘London Thumakda’ & These Pics Are Proof

Until last month, we witnessed several Bollywood weddings that totes blew away our minds. We did not wish for the streak to end and thanks to singer Kanika Kapoor and businessman Gautam Hathiramani, it did not. The couple tied the knot on May 20 in the UK and got the entire London thumakda! After taking the plunge in an intimate ceremony, Kanika and Gautam hosted a grand reception the next day. The ceremony was one lavish affair with several Bollywood singers in attendance.

Baby Doll Tu Sone Di!

For her D-day, Kanika wore a pastel pink Manish Malhotra lehenga. The silver zari and gota work all over the lehenga made her attire look every bit elegant. For her reception, the singer chose something hatke and opted for an uber glamm look. She wore a dazzling red lehenga that was equal parts chic and classy.

Kanika’s lehenga was created by the ace designer and one of her closest friends Isha Rajpal of Rose Room Couture. It featured the designer’s signature details like tonal embroidery, scalloped hems, and the dangling tassels on Kanika’s blouse. We love how Kanika’s diamond and emerald jewellery pieces complement the sequined lehenga.

For her makeup, she opted for a dewy look with nude lips and soft smokey eyes. She kept her hair simple and wore them down sans any hair accessories. Kanika’s reception look is a great example of how to keep things minimalistic yet glamm. Gautam, on the other hand, wore a black sherwani and white pyjama, and looked absolutely dapper.

Shaam Shaandaar!

Signer Guru Randhawa made the event quite lit and sang the couple’s fave songs. Kanika’s close friends, Meet Brothers, who have composed her famous tracks, Baby Doll and Chittiyan Kalaiyaan, were also in attendance. The singers had a blast together and NGL, we wish we had an invite to this fab musical night.

Friends Like Family

Constantly by her side, Kanika’s friends were the life of the party. They danced with the singer and made sure it became a memorable night for the bride. We spotted Priyanka Gill, our Founder & CEO and Co-Founder, Good Glamm Group serving looks and fulfilling her bridesmaid duties along with designer Isha Rajpal, Chandni Munjal Arora, and Ashumi.

Throughout the night, Kanika sang her fave songs, danced with the love of her life and had a gala time with her girlfriends. Now, that’s what we call a great night. Congratulations, Kanika and Gautam!
