DIY Cleansers For Every Type Of Skin

For Acne-Prone Skin

 

You’ll Need:

  • African black soap
  • Yogurt  
  • Activated Charcoal powder
  • Bentonite clay 
  • Aloe vera gel

Method:

Step 1: To a bowl, add 3 tablespoons of African black soap, 1 tablespoon each of yogurt, and activated charcoal powder.

Step 2: Next, add 1 tablespoon of bentonite clay and some aloe vera gel. Mix all the ingredients well and you’re DIY face wash is ready. You can add more aloe gel or yogurt if the consistency is too thick.

For Folks With Oily Skin

You’ll need:

  • African black soap
  • Honey 
  • Tea tree oil or apple cider vinegar
  • Dry clay

Method:

Step 1: To a bowl, add 3 tablespoons of African black soap, 1 tablespoon each of honey.

Step 2: Next, add 1 tablespoon of bentonite clay along with 1 teaspoon of tea tree oil or apple cider vinegar, whichever is easily available. Mix all the ingredients until the consistency seems fine.

For Dry Skin

You’ll need:

  • African black soap
  • Yogurt 
  • Aloe vera gel
  • Bentonite clay 

Method:

Step 1: To a bowl, add 3 tablespoons of African black soap, 2 tablespoons of yogurt, and 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel.

Step 2: Then, add some bentonite clay to the mix and blend all the ingredients. You can change the ratio of ingredients if the consistency is too thick to use.

 

For Combination Skin

You’ll need:

  • African black soap
  • Yogurt 
  • Honey
  • Turmeric
  • Bentonite clay 

Method:

Step 1: To a bowl, add 3 tablespoons of African black soap, 2 tablespoons of yogurt, and 1 tablespoon of honey.

Step 2: Then, add some bentonite clay along with 2 teaspoons of turmeric. Blend all the ingredients and voila, your DIY face wash is ready to use.

To Brighten Dull Complexion

You’ll need:

  • African black soap
  • Yogurt 
  • Turmeric
  • Rose Mist
  • Dry clay

Method:

Step 1: To a bowl, add 3 tablespoons of African black soap, 2 tablespoons of yogurt, and 1 tablespoon of turmeric.

Step 2: Then, add 2 tablespoons each of bentonite clay and rose mist. You can change the ratio of ingredients as per your desired consistency.

1. When making a DIY face wash, avoid using alcohols, potent essential oils, fragrances, or abrasive materials such as pumice or walnut shells.

2. We recommend using warm water to wash off a DIY face mask. When wearing makeup, make sure you remove it with micellar water or cleansing milk first, and then use your cleanser. Follow it up with an ultra-hydrating face moisturiser to lock in the hydration.
