Has there ever been a Bigg Boss season where the makers of the show have not acted as match-makers? We doubt! From planning dates to coming up with special tasks where the gharwalas can get closer to their love interest, BB has done it all. And while we are talking about the romances that have brewed on the reality show, we also have to mention BB friendships that have won our hearts time and again.
Bigg Boss jodis—romantic or platonic—are the real MVPs of the show. And while we do get to see them on social media together, we miss watching them create the same magic on our small screens. You know where we are getting with this, right? Yep, recent music videos like Marjaneya featuring Abhinav Shukla and Rubina Dilaik, and Tera Suit featuring Aly Goni and Jasmin Bhasin have reminded us how much we miss watching our fave BB jodis on screen every day. Do agree or do your agree? Well, then here are the fab Bigg Boss duos we need to see in a web series or a daily soap STAT.
Rashami Desai & Sidharth Shukla
If someone had told us earlier that things were not smooth between the protagonists of Dil Se Dil Tak aka Sidharth Shukla and Rashami Desai, we would have thought they were kidding. After all, their superb chemistry could have convinced anyone that they were BFFs. Interestingly enough, Rashami and Sid proved on Bigg Boss 13 just how ‘cordial’ they were when one threw a hot cup of tea on the other. And the rest as we say is… well, history.
But NGL, by the end of the season, the two were definitely more civil and even hinted at a possible friendship. Does it mean that we can get to see more of that friendship on a TV show soon? We hope so!
Paras Chhabra & Mahira Sharma
Both Paras Chhabra and Mahira Sharma are pretty busy ATM with work and we’re not complaining. After all, they are giving us some fab music videos back to back and we’re loving them. However, their recent hit track Rang Lageya has def made us greedier and we want to see their sizzling chemistry more frequently now.
Priyank Sharma & Hina Khan
Priyank Sharma and Hina Khan had quite an amazing chemistry on the show and we witnessed a small glimpse of the same in their music video Raanjhana. And TBH, it’s been quite a while since we saw Hina on a show after her web series Damaged. Wouldn’t it be nice to see them together on a web series? Think so!
Aly Goni & Jasmin Bhasin
We saw their friendship on Khatron Ke Khiladi and their love story on Bigg Boss 14 and loved every bit of it. There’s no doubt that fans love #JasLy and cannot get enough of them. While Jasmin and Aly are currently busy with their upcoming projects, we hope to see their full-blown romance on a web series soon.
Rahul Vaidya & Nikki Tamboli
Way before Rahul Vaidya confessed his love for Disha Parmar on national television, his fans thought that there might be something brewing between him and Nikki Tamboli. Interestingly enough, they were the most confusing jodi on BB 14, all thanks to their ever-changing relationship dynamics. Well, we did love their hot-and-cold bond and would definitely want to see more of it.
Abhinav Shukla & Rubina Dilaik
While Rubina Dilaik is known for playing the protagonist in Shakti, her hubby is one of the most popular antagonists of the television industry. Well, we have seen them romance on BB 14 a lot of times but to star as enemies on a show? Now that’s an interesting plot we look forward to.
Devoleena Bhattacharjee & Sidharth Shukla
Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Sidharth Shukla were definitely not BFFs when they started their BB 13 journey (far from it, really) but they soon turned out to be good friends. In fact, fans loved how they flirted and became genuine friends by the end of their season. TBH, we really want to see how good they’ll look together as a couple on screen.
Gotta say we can be a better match-maker than Bigg Boss!
