Ranbir Kapoor's friends and family members are quite concerned about the actor's health at the moment. It was hinted earlier that the Barfi actor was unwell and now, it has been revealed that the he has tested positive for COVID-19. His mother, Neetu Kapoor announced on her social media handle recently that Ranbir has contracted COVID-19.
She shared Ranbir's picture and wrote in the caption, "Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well. He is in self quarantine at home and following all precautions 🙏"
Ranbir's fans and family members, including girlfriend Alia Bhatt's mother, Soni Razdan, poured in their wishes and hoped for his speedy recovery.
Ranbir's uncle Randhir Kapoor, during an interview with a leading publication, said that he was not sure what had happened to Ranbir. He said, "I believe he is not well, but I am not sure what he has got. I am not in town."
Earlier, Neetu had also tested positive for the virus while shooting for Jug Jug Jeeyo along with her co-star Varun Dhawan. She had announced, "Earlier this week I tested positive for Covid-19. All safety measures are being followed and I am thankful to the authorities for all their help and quick response. I am in self-quarantine, taking medication on my doctor’s advice and feeling better. I am so grateful for all your love and support! Please stay safe, wear a mask, keep safe distance. Take care."
Ranbir was working on a few projects before contracting the virus that included, Brahmastra, Animal, and Shamshera.
Every passing day is a reminder that the pandemic is still not over and to take all the necessary precautions against it is the need of the hour.
