Ever Since Rahul Vaidya’s dreamy and public marriage proposal to Disha Parmar, we’ve all been waiting for their big day. Well, guess what guys? It’s finally happening! Rahul’s mother Geeta Vaidya just revealed the month the wedding is set to take place and we just can’t keep calm!
In an interview with an entertainment portal, the singer’s mother shared that the wedding preparations have already begun for the month of June. However, the date has not been finalised yet as everyone is waiting for Rahul to come out of the Bigg Boss house. “We are doing the preparations for his marriage in the month of June. We haven’t zeroed down the date yet because we want him to come out and decide on that. As he will have his own plans also. We are doing the basic preparations but he will come and then finalise things with his choice,” said Geeta.
Rahul’s mother also opened up about how Disha’s parents reacted to Rahul’s romantic proposal on national television. “Her family was also surprised, of course. But they are really nice people. Disha’s parents along with her came down to meet us and very nicely discussed everything. Her mother is also very nice and they are also very excited for this marriage,” she said.
Geeta also spoke about Disha’s decision to not enter the Bigg Boss house and sending singer Toshi Sabri as Rahul’s connection for the family week. She shared that it is Disha’s decision if she wants to go adding that she respects whatever the actress decides. On the other hand, Toshi is all set to share Disha’s ‘special message’ for Rahul after he enters the Bigg Boss 14 house.
For the uninitiated, Rahul went all out on girlfriend Disha’s birthday in November 2020 while he was inside the Bigg Boss 14 house. The singer not only wished the actress but he also popped the question, which left us all awestruck. Soon after the swoon-worthy proposal, the singer’s mother had spoken about the possibility of a June wedding and now that it has been confirmed, we just can’t wait!
