#POPxoReviews: This Light Coverage Stick Foundation Is Every Makeup Newbie’s Dream

It’s all about that base, about that base!

In makeup, like in every other aspect in life, if your base is done well then everything else looks great too. So, experimenting with different foundations, BB and CC creams has kind of become an obsession with me. I just tried the MyGlamm Clean Beauty Argan Oil BB Foundation Stick in the shade Birch, and it worked beautifully. Makeup newbies, this is the perfect product to start your beauty journey with.

What is it?

This foundation stick is a light-coverage one that blurs out lines and pores and gives you an even skin tone. If you want something that gives you a natural finish for a day about town, then this is the one to buy. It’s enriched with argan oil making it hydrating for the skin. It comes in three different shades, namely Birch, Oak, and Hickory, all of which are tailor-made for Indian complexions. It’s lightweight and doesn’t feel cakey at all on the skin. For those confused about their shade, I’m a Natural Tan in the Bobbi Brown Skin Long Wear Weightless Foundation and Birch suited me really well.

Why do we love it?

There are many reasons why I love this product, the first being how easy it is to use and blend. It’s a stick formula that glides on to the skin and blends in really well. I’ve got combination skin so I love that it gives me a matte finish without making it look too dry. I also really appreciate that it’s made with 68% natural ingredients and argan oil making it a hybrid between skincare and makeup. The foundation is from the Clean Beauty range making it free of skin-harming ingredients like parabens and sulfates.

How do you use it?

Start with a clean, moisturised face and apply the foundation all over. Put some on your cheeks, your chin, your nose, and forehead, and don’t forget the neck. Then blend it in with a damp beauty sponge and you’ll get a light to medium coverage. I would ideally use it during the day when I want a natural finish and still have my skin peeking through. If you want it to last all day, just set it in place using a translucent powder and you’ll be good to go!
