It’s been one hell of a ride for the Indian beauty industry which has now made a name for itself globally. Homegrown brands have mindfully created products using innovation and skill and come up with skincare, beauty, and makeup ranges especially designed for Indian skin tones and weather. One such brand that is leading the way is MyGlamm.
It’s just been three years since MyGlamm launched and it’s already paving the way for the future of beauty. It’s given the consumer all that they wanted from skincare products and germ-killing products to loads and loads of makeup! Every beauty lover’s dream, right? Now, they’ve even started co-creating products directly with the customer and that’s another paradigm shift in the Indian beauty industry.
Today, we’re looking at where they started and where they are now.
It was October 2018 when it all started as MyGlamm launched multitasking, creative and high-quality products.
In October 2019, MyGlamm launched the K.Play range where they experimented with Korean beauty trends and gave consumers flavoured makeup and skincare including lipsticks, glosses, lip butters, and sheet masks.
MyGlamm brought in the new year with a bang! Manish Malhotra Beauty celebrated its 2nd anniversary with the Celebrate 2020 Edit -- a star-studded campaign featuring Mira Kapoor, Tahira Kashyap, Ananya Birla, among other celebrities.
Together, they launched MyGlammXo in September -- the world’s largest beauty democracy initiative. With MyGlammXO, consumers have the power to co-create products with MyGlamm. In a matter of a few weeks, they got over 250,000 women to take part in this one-of-a-kind movement.
Honestly, looking at where they started and where they are now, it’s been an exciting journey full of big wins, MyGlamm has redefined the Indian beauty industry and raised the bar for every other brand out there.
MyGlamm has 400 retail stores where people can get a look and feel of their products. All their products have a rich texture, ace formulas that are 100% cruelty-free. They’ve recently launched a line of vegan beauty products too.
From then to now, it’s been 3 incredible years and they clearly have miles to go!
