Their Love Story Started In A Mall & It's Putting Bollywood Movies To Shame!

Do you believe in love at first sight? Well, if you don’t, this love story is going to change the way you think. Grishma Hedge and Giri Kumar were just two people going about their usual lives when they saw each other at a shopping mall and fell for each other that very instant. The rest, as they say, is history. Grishma and Giri recently got married in a beautiful ceremony in Karnataka and looked so in love!

Jab They Met!

They met at a shopping mall for the first time where Grishma was working with a sales and marketing team. Talking about the day, Grishma said, “He was walking past our kiosk and I stopped him to fill in a questionnaire. The minute our eyes met, there was an instant connection from both sides, but nothing happened then, he filled out the questionnaire as we spoke for a couple of minutes and went about with our lives as usual”. But after a couple of months, their paths crossed again and that’s when they started seeing each other. “He’s the best deal I’ve ever struck in that mall or anywhere for that matter”, she added. Aww! How cute!

Well, in a lot of ways, Grishma and Giri have the perfect love story, don’t they? And just like their love story, their wedding was perfect too. From the beautiful Kanjeevaram sarees to the stunning venue, we are in love with everything.

The love birds got married in December last year in Bangalore and it was beautifully captured by LightBucket ProductionsGrishma wanted her wedding to be like a vacation where her friends and family can get together and enjoy the shaadi. They chose Sai Radha Heritage Beach as the venue and the festivities started with a dhamakedaar sangeet ceremony.

The Sangeet

Grishma and Giri colour-coordinated their outfits. While Grishma wore a red lehenga skirt with golden choli, Giri complemented her look in a cream kurta pajama with a red and golden Nehru jacket. Both the outfits were designed by Grishma’s cousin, Shrestha Shetty

The Wedding

For the wedding, Grishma wore a beautiful blue and pink silk saree by VaraMahalakshmi Silks, and we cannot take our eyes off her. Her makeup artist Shefali Ballal gave her a subtle look with smokey eyes, which went perfectly with her gorgeous attire. Traditional jewellery and the beautiful floral jada made of orchids completed her look. Giri opted for a white sherwani and wore a blue safa with it.
