In a nutshell, do whatever it takes to spoil the shiz out of your skin.

Warm water with lemon, ginger and honey is better than drinking chai or coffee in the morning. This humble drink keeps your throat warm and protects you from getting a sore throat and a dry cough. Since honey is loaded with antimicrobial and antioxidant properties, it keeps the cold at bay. Plus, honey is loaded with minerals, vitamins, amino acids that absorb fat and in the process prevent weight gain. Ginger improves your metabolism and a combination of the ingredients boosts your immunity. Not to mention this drink helps you get a cleaner and clearer complexion.
Now that we've got all the time to pamper ourselves, let's take this opportunity to cleanse, tone and moisturise. As soon as you wake up, the first you should do is brush your teeth and then wash your face with a mild cleanser. This washes away all the dirt, oil and makeup residue on the surface of your skin. Second, use a toner to balance your pH levels and finally use a good moisturiser to hydrate your skin.
If your skin looks tired and dull, you may need to bring it back to life and if you have the time in the morning, what better way than to use a face mask? Your skin will thank you! You can use a sheet mask, a clay mask or even a fun #DIY face mask. Head to the kitchen and open your vegetable tray.
Here's a DIY Face Mask Using Pomegranate, Honey & Yoghurt
Take out one pomegranate, honey and unflavoured yoghurt. Make a juice out of pomegranate first and then place the pulp in a bowl and mix it with 1 tbsp of yoghurt and honey. Stir well and apply all over your face and neck. Since pomegranate is loaded with Vitamin A, E and C, you'll have bright, energised skin in minutes!
Once you're done with your face mask and your CTM routine, use SPF loaded moisturiser. You shouldn't be skipping SPF even if you're staying indoors. Sunlight can still make its way into your life through the windows. Hence, it's important to wear sunscreen even when you're at home. Since you're working indoors, even an SPF 30 should be good enough.
Biting your lips, wearing liquid matte lippies, sitting in an air-conditioned room at home - all these things can dry your lips out. When your pout lacks moisture, it starts to peel and if you pull the dead skin out, you could experience bleeding and pain. Hence, keep a lip balm with you at all times & reapply every few hours.
