#POPxoStyleSchool: One Coat & Three Influencer-Approved Ways To Style It

Winter fashion is so much *cooler* than summer style, there, I said it!

Comfy sweaters, trench coats, mufflers, ponchos, boots; there are more ways than one in which anybody can ace their fashion game just like an #InstagramInfluencer with minimal effort.

I don’t know about you guys but styling my #OOTD with a long coat or a blazer is my go-to trick to look stylish in a pinch. It adds such an effect to my winter look and I feel like a stylish model who is casually running errands! Since I’m pretty tall (5’8 to be precise), pairing my outfit with a long coat is my favourite little touch.

Whether it is the basic tee-denim combo or wearing a summer dress, a long coat allows me to slay, no matter what and that is exactly what I’ll be showing you guys today – how to wear a long blazer with three totally different looks!

And if you don’t own a couple of long coats already, it’s time for a wardrobe update!

So are you guys hungry ‘coz today I’m serving lewks, y’all!

Before we begin, pick out a muted-tone blazer, preferably with no bold prints as crazy patterns as we are NOT channelling our inner Ranveer Singh!

Look 1:

For the first look, I paired my black blazer with a basic white shirt and brown paper bag pants. To add more length and depth to the look, I wore brown boots and that’s it.

Pretty effortless, right?

Pro tip: Wear dark coloured boots so that it blends well with your black (or any dark colour) blazer. Heeled boots are preferred if you wish to further elongate your look.

Look 2:

And there you were, thinking that a maxi dress is of no use in winters! This is how I added the *power of prints* to my second look. Just pick out a dress of any length and wear your long blazer over it and voila, an instant upgrade!

Pair it with nude-tone block heels or wedges to add a little bit of a summer touch to your #OOTD.

Look 3:

This look is perfect for everyone who loves a bright pop of colour in their outfit! A bright-hued pair of pants with a sweater with soft tones is the perfect combo to wear to the office or a brunch date. Just add a long blazer to your colour-coordinated look and you’re ready to slay the day.

That’s it, guys! Wasn’t this fun and so easy? Are you also adding long blazers to your cart as you read? I bet, you are!
