An Indian bride and her red lehenga are a combination *made in heaven*. But lately, brides are shying away from the obvious red and brighter hues such as orange, peach, pink and even green are the new contenders. Brides are also on an experimental spree by choosing softer shades such as pastels and sometimes even neon!
If there's one thing I've learned from taking inspirations from the #RealBrides of the 'Gram is that trends, as we know, are changing. Brides are making their own rules and we are livin' for it! Meet Yashna Jugnundan, who chose the most unconventional lehenga for her wedding in Langkawi, Malaysia.
White, yes she wore white on her wedding! How awesome is that?!
The designer took to Instagram to share Yashna's wedding photographs are we're in awe! Adorned in multiple layers of gold jewellery, the traditional nath and kaleeras, Yashna is setting goals for 2020 brides. The serene beach, her pristine white lehenga and the groom's sherwani; everything just *marries* perfectly with each other!
This south Indian doctor is most definitely breaking stereotypes by choosing to wear white for her traditional Hindu ceremony. Would you wear it for yours?
