Winter is just around the corner, which means it’ll officially be boots season soon! While winter staples such as coats, sweaters and mufflers are already making their way into our wardrobe, the cold weather also calls for an update in our skincare routine. Believe it or not, it's during winters, and not summers, that your skin loses most of its moisture! The dry air is responsible for sucking the moisture out of your skin, therefore, hydration is of utmost importance.
Dry skin is a common phenomenon during winters as the low humidity levels result in loss of moisture from the skin. As the temperature drops, moisture starts to evaporate, making the skin feel drier, tighter and flakier. Without a proper dose of hydration, our skin is prone to some serious damage.

Your regular eight glasses of water ain’t gonna cut it. Since you’re losing moisture at a high rate, it's advisable to drink a minimum of 10 glasses of water every day. Drinking a glass of water as soon as you wake up is great for your metabolism and also helps retain the skin's natural moisture. Drinking water also releases toxins from your body and improves the digestive system. And, of course, it improves the texture of your skin.
