If there were only one type of gossip I was allowed to be a part of for the rest of my life, it would be about what happens between Bollywood besties. It is my ultimate area of interest. Think about it, you get to know everything they talk about (including other celebrities), their unfiltered secrets, what they are actually like in real life, and whatnot. These days, celebrity best friends Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu are on our BFF radar.
The Mission Mangal actress just posted a childhood picture of herself dating back to her sports day in school thereby taking part in the new challenge that has taken Bollywood by a storm–#WhyTheGap. The challenge, started by Akshay Kumar (who nominated Taapsee for it) and Twinkle Khanna, encourages celebrities to share their childhood pictures talking about their schooling with respect to how children today don’t have access to education leading to privilege gaps in the society.
Here’s the picture that Taapsee posted:
She wrote, “Sports have been an integral part of my life. School race tracks became my war zone every year and thanks to a supportive family and encouraging school teachers I could have my moment of glory. Unfortunately, many kids don’t have that support system #WhyTheGap

Here’s where Vicky comes into the picture, or should we say comments. His comment on Taapsee’s throwback picture is what every best friend would write. He wrote, “Pakka do chaar ko dhakka zaroor maara hoga,” commenting on how she must have won the first prize. LOL! In fact, Taapsee had a befitting reply as well.
Not just Vicky, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap also left a comment on Taapsee picture and it is just as hilarious. See for yourself:
Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal worked together as the main leads in Anurag Kashyap’s directorial Manmarziyaan. Since then, the three have become really close friends, especially Taapsee and Vicky. In fact, whenever they are invited on talk shows separately, they spill secrets about each other that no one knows.
On the work front, Vicky Kaushal has a bunch of movies lined up including Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship (releasing on 15 November 2019) and Sardar Udham Singh, Takht, and Sam Manekshaw (all set for 2020). Recently, he won a National Award for his last film Uri: The Surgical Strike in the Best Actor category alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, who won it for Andhadhun.
Taapsee Pannu, on the other hand, has two films set to release this year including Game Over and Saand Ki Aankh.
