Whenever I visit a fort or a castle during my travels, I always picture myself getting married in an old but royal architecture like that. That’s probably why Rajasthan and Europe are my favourite wedding destinations. I’m sure we all have, at some point, daydreamed about our wedding – where, how, when, etc. This bride from Delhi, like us all, had a novel idea for her dream wedding and the destination was home sweet home.
Meet Sanaa Vidyalankar, the bride who got married on the terrace of her house. The CEO of Soul To Sole Studio, Sanaa married her boyfriend Siddhant Mittal in an intimate ceremony and most of their wedding functions took place at her home sweet home.

HOW?
This wedding had a beautiful mandap set-up with fresh flowers at a location where no other bride is ever going to get married. This will always be her special place. Something that no banquet hall or farmhouse can beat – the feeling of belongingness. It’s a warm and emotional take on going from one house to another, literally, and we are all for it.
Her wedding cocktail also took place on the terrace as can be seen in this video of the bride dancing with her girl gang on Aankh Marey. Speaking of which, here’s a dance performance where simple choreography and alcohol as props stole the night:
