Plot: A violent and uncontrollable eight-year-old blind girl Michelle McNally (Rani Mukherjee) has her life turned upside down when an alcoholic (and rather eccentric) teacher for the deaf and blind, Debraj Sahai (Amitabh Bachchan) enters her life to give her basic education and life coaching. His harsh teaching methods are also met with criticism from Michelle’s parents. But it is only with Debraj’s involvement that Michelle will see a silver lining in her world. Years later, they will meet again. This time Michelle guiding him from darkness to light, just the way he did when she was a child.
