These 10 Kareena Kapoor Movies Are So Bad They Should’ve Never Been Made – Likh Ke Le Lo!

Every actor has his/her share of good and bad movies. But sometimes, the bad movies are so bad that you wish they had never been made. Kareena Kapoor Khan has also had her share of shoddy movies in Bollywood. Poo and Geet are iconic characters, true, but the 38-year-old actress has done some pretty terrible films especially during her early years in the industry.

Here are 10 movies of Kareena Kapoor that should have never been made. Now, some of you might not have even heard about some of these films. Our sincere apologies for making you aware.

1. Agent Vinod (2012)

Other than the song Raabta/Kehte Hain Khuda Ne by Arijit Singh, there is literally nothing good about the film. After the news of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s serious relationship came out, filmmakers wanted to cast the two as the lead pair in their films. After Kurbaan, Agent Vinod came only to flop at the box office courtesy a lousy script and equally lousy dialogues. Exhibit A: “Get lost, I am not your property, bloody reptile. I just want to die! No, actually, I just want to get drunk.” Sigh!

2. Ra.One (2011)

Bahe naina, bhare morey naina, jhare morey naina even at the thought of this film. It is a superhero science fiction/action film where an indestructible virtual character, Ra.One (played by Arjun Rampal) comes to life and kills. Sure Kareena looked like a Chammak Challo in the film but guess what, that’s not what it takes to make a film truly good.

3. Kambakkht Ishq (2009)

Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar have done a lot of movies together – Ajnabee, Talaash: The Hunt Begins, Aitraaz, Bewafaa, Tashan – heck, Bebo’s next after Veere Di Wedding is a film titled Good News with the Khiladi. But Kambakkht Ishq is one film that brought tears to our eyes. A rom-com, it is neither romantic nor comedy, tbh. Kareena plays a medical student turned supermodel and Akshay is a popular stuntman but both have a very low opinion of the opposite sex. Let’s just say, the whole movie is very low in our opinion.

4. Tashan (2008)

Tashan gained popularity even before its release for two reasons – one, it is during its filming that Kareena fell in love with Saif Ali Khan and left her long term boyfriend Shahid Kapoor, and two, her size zero stunt for the song Chhaliya. Every woman wanted to be size zero following Kareena’s look in the film! What can we say, the film got no tashan whatsoever. After all, what is fun about running away with stolen money and conning people into falling in love with you?

5. Kyon Ki (2005)

Salman Khan accidentally kills his fiancé and becomes insane. He is admitted to a psychiatric hospital where his doctor, played by Kareena, falls in love with him. Somehow, Salman dies Kyon Ki… It’s fate (epic movie title placement). Now, Kareena becomes insane after his death. The end. Let’s just leave it here, please.

6. Fida (2004)

Behind catchy songs and hot chemistry sometimes lies an awful film. If you come across such a statement during any conversation, rest assured the discussion is about Kareena and Shahid (and Fardeen’s) Fida. Come to think of it, Kareena plays a con artist who takes advantage of her “good looks, good looks, good looks” and tricks young men into falling in love-at-first-sight with her A LOT.

7. Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon (2003)

Don’t even get us started on Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon. Gotta save my breath for the next one, so here are 64 thoughts we had while watching the film for the first time.

8. Khushi (2003)

Kareena’s movies have come in phases it seems – phase 1: Tusshar Kapoor, phase 2: Fardeen Khan, phase 3: Akshay Kumar, etc etc. This one’s from the Kareena-Fardeen phase. They both fall in love but their egos come in the way. Cutting straight to the climax, the movie ends with the couple having a total of 17 kids with Khushi expecting again. WTF! Aayi re aayi re Khushi, alright, but 17 times and counting?!

9. Jeena Sirf Merre Liye (2002)

Childhood love separated by rich father ‘coz orphan boy not good enough for his little angel and reunited years later to be celebrated by the world. They didn’t need to make a whole movie on this when a single line could do it. Not that it’s good.

10. Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai (2001)

Rabba mere rabba rabba is there anything right with this film? It explores the dangerous potential of unexpressed love and regret. Well, we regret watching the film even today, 18 years later.

Which of these would the Kareena fan in you still dare to bare?
