Deepika Padukone is slaying it in New York, and for proof, we have this stunning picture of the diva that she shared on Instagram. Honestly, we just died a little. Everything about this look, right from her loose waves to her nude and bronze makeup is so on-point. Don't forget that blinding highlight! You glow, girl! But what we love in particular is Deepika's smokey eye look.
Though she's always given us a dressing table full of eye-makeup inspiration (from reverse smokey eyes to her signature winged eyeliner) her latest eye makeup is something we would like to master in particular, and we know you'd like to as well.
So, here's a quick guide on how you can recreate Deepika's sexy eye makeup look. Start taking notes, ladies! We just found you the perfect look for Saturday night dancing!
To start off, you'll need a black pencil eyeliner and a medium-sized eyeshadow brush.
Using the eyeliner draw a thin line on the upper lids of your eyes, making sure you stay close to your lash line. Now, use a tapered eyeshadow brush to smudge out the eyeliner for that smoked out effect. Remember, you want to smoke it out more on the outer V of your eye, so build up the product on that area to get the desired effect. If the brush isn't doing the trick, use your fingers to blend the colour out.
Now, apply the eyeliner on your lower lash line and repeat the same process. You want to keep it more subtle here so don't go crazy with the product. Finally, line your upper and lower waterlines, apply a generous coat of mascara, and you're done. It's that simple.
In case you were wondering, Deepika's makeup look was done by Vietnamese American celebrity MUA Hung Vanngo who has worked for international stars like Bella Hadid, Katy Perry, and Sophie Turner. And her hair was done by celebrity hairstylist Harry Josh. The pictures of the diva were shared by shared by both of them on their Insta handle.Josh captioned the picture as "UNREAL!! Amazing day with the ✨💫 BREATHTAKING @deepikapadukone in NYC!!!"
On the professional front, Deepika will soon be seen in Meghna Gulzar's Chhappak opposite Vikrant Massey based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal from New Delhi. In fact, Deepika is also the producer of the film. We definitely can't wait to watch this one.
But till such time Deepika serves us with another gorgeous screen performance that we can swoon over, we're consoling ourselves with her beautiful Insta appearances.
Thanks, Deepika, you just made our weekend a whole lot better!
