Just Eight Of Our Favourite Sabyasachi Brides Of 2018!

A master of weaves and the OG powerhouse behind the revival of Indian textiles, Sabyasachi Mukherjee is someone to reckon with. Every single collection of his evokes feelings we never knew we had. The go-to designer for almost every celebrity there is, his storytelling is the stuff dreams are made of, as are the brides he dresses. To bring to the forefront his genius, we decided to take a look at some of our favourite Sabya brides by charting their wedding looks.

1. Ravneet Kaur

For her traditional ceremony in a Gurudwara in Melbourne, this bride ditched the lehenga for a printed ivory one-piece by the designer. Cinched at the waist with a trademark Sabya belt, the outfit was paired with an embellished dupatta.

2. Shikha Kasal

The bride chose a traditional matka silk lehenga, embellished with hand-pressed gota and completed her look with the red chooda that is synonymous with a Punjabi wedding.

3. Megan B

This New York bride left us starry-eyed with her embellished Sabyasachi saree. Oh, the glitter!

4. Trisha Khatri

Organic weddings and pared down aesthetics are increasingly becoming the modern bridal trend. Many brides are choosing to keep their weddings simple, elegant and fuss-free. Natural surroundings, natural flowers and quieter colours are becoming a popular design choice at Indian weddings. Reds and fuchsias are giving way to salmon, peach and ivory. Is it globalisation or a deliberate move towards simplicity? @trisha.khatri @veepat007 Image Courtesy: @kamacatchme Styled By: @bridelanindia #Sabyasachi #BridesOfSabyasachi #GroomsOfSabyasachi #SabyasachiBridesWorldwide #DreamWeddings #DestinationWeddings #FijiIslands #TheWorldOfSabyasachi @bridesofsabyasachi @groomsofsabyasachi

For her destination wedding at the Fiji Islands, this bride chose a minimalistic ivory lehenga and looked absolutely breathtaking. Such an understated and elegant pick!

There are some weddings where everything comes together in absolute perfect harmony- from the location to the clothes; from the guest list to the food served and the general ethos of the occasion. It perhaps has a lot to do with the clarity and vision of the bride and the groom. Our beautiful bride- Zai is an artist and her wedding was nothing short of poetry. Everything at her wedding had such a strong sense of artistic personality. It is only fitting that her husband- Phil is an artist too. @zaidivecha @philreyneri Styled by: Bridelan @bridelanindia Image courtesy: Kindred Weddings @kindredweddings #Sabyasachi #BridesOfSabyasachi #SabyasachiBridesWorldwide #DreamWeddings #DestinationWeddings #California #TheWorldOfSabyasachi @bridesofsabyasachi

A Sabyasachi bride from San Francisco, California, Zia chose to wear a net saree on her wedding day. She accessorised with a choker and studs and proved that sometimes minimalism works like a charm!

6. Meghna Jhuremalani

Ditching the conventional red can be tough, but one look at Meghna's antique brocade green lehenga and you know you want exactly this look for your wedding too! Paired with a white dupatta and exquisite jewellery, she looks like a true princess.

7. Simona Kubasova

Dressed in a signature red lehenga with aari-taari embroidery and zardosi highlights, bride Simona totally owned her wedding day look. If a classic red is what you love, you must bookmark this picture.

8. Dolly Menghani

Calling her one of his all-time favourite bride, Sabyasachi dressed Dolly in a floral anarkali for her wedding day. For a summer wedding or a day ceremony this just looks like the perfect pick!
