Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt make one of the hottest couples in Bollywood. They’ve had us ogling at their oh-so-amazing chemistry ever since they made an appearance together at Sonam Kapoor’s reception ceremony. Even though they’ve mostly remained tight-lipped about their relationship, they have dropped slight hints about their love life. But what adds masala to our lives are the statements by their parents, who sometimes go all out.
Alia’s doting daddy Mahesh Bhatt’s statement in an interview served as fodder to the gossip mills when he said, “It’s very obvious that Ranbir and Alia are making no bones about talking to people about them being intimate. And I don’t belong to that category of parents who’d advise their children about their personal choices. Alia is an adult and it’s a matter that she has to resolve. It’s their life, their space. I respect and admire them for choosing to talk to the world when, and if, they want to do.”
And now, Rishi Kapoor has amazed us when he recently said in an interview with a leading daily. The Mulk actor said, “It’s Ranbir’s life. Who he wants to get married to is his prerogative. Neetu likes Alia, I like her, Ranbir likes her. Get it? I can’t be judgmental.”
Can I also join the chain and say that I like Alia too?!
Ranbir and Alia will be seen together in Brahmastra which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy in significant roles. Helmed by Ayan Mukherji and produced by Karan Johar, the film is slated to hit theatres on 15th August 2019.
After reading so much about Ranbir and Alia, I am super excited to see their onscreen chemistry. This is the first time they’ll be sharing screen space with each other. Can’t believe no one ever thought of signing them opposite each other before! Well, Karan Johar is a true Johari I must say.
