It’s been a year of tinsel town shaadis I feel. It all started with Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s extravagant wedding which had the whole country stuck to their phones, then Neha Dhupia surprised us with her low-key wedding to Angad Bedi. And then even the Ambanis had two larger-than-life engagements of Isha-Anand and Akash-Shloka. Oh, and not to forget, our desi girl getting roka-ed to pop star, Jonas!
But fans were eagerly waiting for the massive DeepVeer wedding in Lake Como which was to happen on the 10th of November. However, if the latest reports are to be believed then Bollywood’s favourite jodi have postponed their big day to early January.
What, what?! Is it normal that I feel THIS bad? Ranveer and Deepika why would you do this to us?
A leading TV report claimed that both Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have made themselves available during the general wedding heavy months of the year and this has resulted in the speculation that they might have pushed tying the knot to early January 2019.
One of the main reasons the November date caught momentum in the first place was the fact that the couple started refusing events, projects and other engagements during that time. While the couple has remained tight-lipped on any possible date, we’re just hoping it happens soon.
On the work front, Ranveer is busy with his film Simmba along with Sara Ali Khan and Deepika has just returned the signing amount for Vishal Bharadwaj’s film on Sapna Didi.
