Hina Khan Shows Us Dusky Girls How To Pull Off The Shiniest Of Blues With Indian Wear

Hina Khan is just like us when it comes to Indian wear. She too thinks that “Ethnic means sheer elegance”. But unlike her, we are not always sure about pulling off certain colours thinking that they won’t look good on us. I am one of them – big time! But recently, Hina has broken all myths about colours that suit dusky girls.

Hina Khan wore a printed blue crop top in a cut-out style with a solid flared maxi skirt and we have found a new colour to try this festive season.

Let me tell you, ladies, it’s never about the colour. You can wear whatever colour you want, the way you want. Dusky or fair complexion has got nothing to do with it. The trick lies in your add-ons and how you style them. Hina, for example, accessorised her shiny lehenga with oxidised jewellery to balance the look out. This way, the colour is not looking OTT on her. Another way would be carrying a muted silver clutch purse or putting on a nude lipstick with pink or brown undertones and focusing on eye makeup rather than keeping them bare.

Hina Khan is wearing a Ridha by Rohit Arora lehenga and her dull gold-toned jhumkas are from Kohar Jewellery. She chose a slick ponytail look and bright red lipstick to complete her look.

Hina really loves Indian wear and her choice of colours is generally unique too. Here’s some colour inspiration to take from the Bigg Boss that you otherwise would refrain from:

2. Ivory White

3. Mehendi Green

4. Grasshopper Green

5. Deep Violet
