The wait is finally over. Priyanka Chopra is all set to get engaged to Nick Jonas in a grand ceremony in Mumbai tomorrow. This year, Mumbai saw the Ambanis and the Kapoors set the bar extremely high with mega-events celebrating Akash’s engagement and Sonam’s wedding respectively. Now, our desi girl Priyanka Chopra will have to live up to the razzmatazz. There’s no doubt that PeeCee will pull off a grand engagement but a few biggies of the tinsel town will miss the event. The biggest absentees are Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. Both superstars are busy shooting abroad for their films Zero and Bharat respectively.

Not only the Khans, even Katrina Kaif is away in Malta, shooting for Bharat. PeeCee’s Barfi co-star Ranbir Kapoor too will give the engagement a miss as he is in Bulgaria shooting for his superhero movie Brahmastra. Anushka Sharma will miss the event too. The Sui Dhaaga star won’t be able to attend the party as she has already left for London. Among the newbies, Siddharth Malhotra will give it a miss as he is in Lucknow for Jabariya Jodi shoot.
But despite these absentees, PeeCee’s still got a big guest list and the engagement will boast of enough glamour even without the superstars mentioned above. The ones who are definitely going to attend the event and bless the couple are the Bachchans. PeeCee’s sister Parineeti Chopra will definitely be there. Although Alia Bhatt is shooting for Kalank, she is expected to make it. Salman won’t be there but the rest of the Khan family will fill in. Also, PeeCee’s fave Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Karan Johar and Manish Malhotra will grace the engagement with their presence. PeeCee’s Bajirao Mastani co-stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are expected to make an appearance taking time out from their own busy wedding planning schedule.
