Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ engagement has been the talk of the town ever since the two sealed the deal with a small roka function on 18 August. Nick flew down to his lady love’s Mumbai home with his mom and dad a day before the ceremony. Post the celebrations, the newly-engaged couple threw a lavish engagement bash which saw many Bollywood biggies in attendance.
Well, now a few days post the functions, another amazing detail about the bash seems to be doing the rounds – the engagement cake. The gorgeous looking pink and white cake weighed a whopping 15 kgs and was decorated extensively with pink cymbidium orchids, hydrangeas, berries and a 24-carat gold leaf. Yep, it really was decorated with pure gold. Take a look:

Now that Nick and Priyanka are finally engaged and #rokafied, it’s just a matter of time before they become man and wife. We are eagerly awaiting this wedding. A source close to the couple who even attended the ceremonies, had this to say about the wedding date:
“Everybody wants to know when they’ll get married. It would be soon, but given her schedule, and Nick’s tours, it will take an effort to arrive on a date. It will be after she wraps up The Sky Is Pink, for which she starts filming next week.”
Some reports suggested that the two will tie the knot on Nick’s 26th birthday on 16 September this year. Others said they might be looking at a year-end date. Well, whatever the date is, we are super excited about the most-awaited wedding of the year!
