There’s never a dull moment in Bollywood. While I was Netflixing on a lazy Wednesday, things got regal in Mumbai last night.
I was just getting to work when I saw all the pictures (and videos) from Manish Malhotra’s Couture Show 2018-19. His first solo show after a gap of six years, his showstoppers were Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan. While I didn’t expect any chemistry on-stage (and I was right), I couldn’t stop zooming into Katrina’s photos.
I think what really stood out in this look for me would have to be her big, textured waves courtesy Amit Thakur.
Natural looking waves are not only a boon for people with flat or wispy hair (like me) but also true to our roots since a lot of us have naturally wavy hair.
I think these waves would be perfecting for both ethnic ensembles as well as party chic.
It’s not just me, Manish Malhotra couldn’t help touching them either.
Amit definitely seems to be a roll with the whole 90s vibe since he also made us go gaga over Bebo’s hair at India Couture Week recently.
Now I can’t possibly end this feature and skip her makeup entirely. MUA Daniel Bauer gave her soft smokey eyes with a pop of highlighter on her eyes, cheeks and collarbones.
