The men of the royal Pataudi family sure know how to treat their ladies well. And given the fact that they are a very close-knit clan, it didn’t come to us as a surprise when both Saif and Kunal stepped out with their wifeys Kareena and Soha for a late night double date. They are not just fam goals but are also an example of how to keep the spark alive in your marriage even after the birth of little ones. The adorable couples have been spotted hanging out with each other a lot of times and it’s just super cute. Check out some pictures from last night’s dinner:
They are one big happy family! *nazar na lage*
Be it interviews, press conferences or other public events, the Pataudis too have never shied away from praising each other. But what is most heart-warming to see is the bond that Kareena and Soha share. A few months back during a press conference for the release of Soha’s book The Perils Of Being Moderately Famous, Kareena was all praises for Soha and had some very interesting things to say about her lovely sister-in-law. When asked about the equation she shared with Soha, this is what Bebo had to say:
“I have rarely been intimidated by anyone and the media knows this. But, if there’s one person in the family I am completely in awe of, it is Soha. I’m always a little nervous when I am having dinner with Saif and Soha, I’m like, ‘Oh my God I am never going to understand this conversation.’ I am like if Kunal cannot get what they’re talking about, there’s no way I can! Soha has always been so polite. She is like ‘Hi what’s up? Did you buy anything? So, what’s the gossip?’ I’m like, ‘Oh God I feel so small and lame.’ But it’s okay. I think we have found our way.”
Well, that’s pretty nice to hear! One rarely gets to see such a bond between sisters-in-law.
During the same interview, Kareena went on to describe in detail how Soha was the one dependable person in the family for a lot of things. Read on:
“If there’s anyone in the family who we all turn to when Amma (Sharmila Tagore) is all worked up, and if there’s one person who can control the situation, it is Soha. I truly believe that she is the torchbearer of the family and this title (Moderately Famous) doesn’t do justice to her, because famous or not famous, she is the ground on which all of us stand.”
These are such beautiful words, right? But the most touching part came when Bebo talked about Soha’s bond with their dad, Lt. Mr Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi:
“I’ve seen the way she has compassionately (albeit) with a breaking heart, taken care of her father during his last days. I’ve never seen any other daughter do this. I am a daughter myself. I don’t know if I could have done what she did. And that to me is a solid woman. So, here’s to you Soha. I’m sure Abba is listening to all of this.”
Wow! If this isn’t nanad-bhabhi goals, then we don’t know what is! We really wish more and more nanads and bhabhis could be as much in love with each other as these two are!
