Makeup junkies are usually on the quest to finding their holy grail products and in the process end up buying a lot more stuff than others. There are some junkies that genuinely love makeup and usually are on the quest for the next ‘IT’ look. But there is one hunt that every woman is on, and that is to find the perfect nude shade. What would the perfect nude look like? It would be something that wouldn’t wash you out but wouldn’t also look like you have too much on. It’s ideally your lip shade but a little better. While we are on that hunt, Isha Ambani recently sported this minimal-ish makeup look for Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ engagement bash and we thought her lip colour came pretty close to being the perfect nude.
We wasted no time getting in touch with MUA Vardan Nayak who gave us the complete breakdown of her look.
After prepping her face with the FARSÁLI Rose Gold Elixir Radiating Moisturizer, makeup artist Vardan Nayak used a combination of Benefit Sunbeam (golden bronze complexion highlighter) and Luminous Silk Foundation by Giorgio Armani to keep the skin glowy. Then he set the face with the M.A.C Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder. For the eyes, he kept it minimal just by prepping the eyes with Becca Cosmetics Rose Gold Glow and highlighting them with Hollywood from the Master Mario Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills, followed by lining the lash and waterline with M.A.C Technakohl Liner – Auto-De-Blu. He finished Isha’s eye makeup with a coat of Smashbox Super Fan Mascara – Black on naturally curled eyelashes. He added Tourmaline from the Anastasia Glow Kit – Sun Dipped just above the contour line on the cheek and topped it up with Peachykeen from blusher palette by M.A.C for a natural flush.
