Hate The Gym? Here Are A Few Other Activities You Can Do To Get Into Shape

Have you had one of those mornings when you looked in the mirror and felt out of shape? While it's really difficult to resist good food, it's also very easy to gain those extra pounds. Some of us really hate to go to the gym because it becomes mundane after a point, but how to lose them belly without having to actually step into the gym, you ask? We have made it a tad easy for you by listing various activities that can help you lose weight without visiting the super boring gym!


1. Running


Running is considered one of the easiest and effortless ways to lose weight. Just throw on a pair of sports shoes, tie your hair up in a bun and play some good music that gets you going. Make it a ritual to run at least 20 minutes a day. You will surely see good results!

2. Brisk walk


If running is not your thing, then we have the second most impactful thing. Go for a half an hour long brisk walk session every day and stretch by the end of it. You don't have to worry about gaining those extra pounds even if you love to eat.


3. Yoga, baby!


Yoga is one activity that every girl can do no matter where she is. Be it her house or at the park. All you need is a mat. Yoga helps in strengthening your muscles and also tones up your body.

4. 7-minute workout!


I can say this personally as it has helped me, too. Do the seven-minute core workout which involves one  minute of pushups, one minute of planks, one minute of jumping jacks, one minute of sit-ups, two minutes of leg raises and one minute of stretching.  


5. Take the stairs


This is the least you can do, ladies. Ditch the elevator and take the stairs. You will be burning a lot of calories on the go.

6. Pick a sport


Any sport - say tennis or basketball. It burns a lot of calories and let's face it, it's a lot of fun. So, get your squad and challenge them to a face off!


7. Cycle!


Get back to your childhood days and take a tour around your city on a cycle. You will enjoy yourself and at the same time burn a lot of calories!
