India Couture Week has been taking it up a few notches every season. Last night they opened the show with the outstanding creativity of two ace designers, Anju Modi and Tarun Tahiliani. And the opening show by Tarun was promising enough to turn every bride’s runway dream into a reality. Quite an inspiration for the modern Indian bride-to-be, if we may say so! Tarun’s new collection In Elysium is all about outfits with light and luxurious fabrics with a hint of sexy. The showstopper, Aditi Rao Hydari rocked a stunning off-shoulder muted pink lehenga with a long train and floral embroidery and embellishments all over. With a stone studded statement choker, matching studs and some fresh baby’s-breath in her hair, Aditi‘s look was kept neat and simple. This is a perfect look for the brides who believe in the ‘less is more’ theory.
Not only that, this look has made it certain that au naturel is the bridal beauty trend to dig this wedding season. Do it like Aditi, go for peachy pink cheeks and nude lipsticks.
On choosing Aditi as his showstopper, Tarun shares:
