Sushma Swaraj Just Shut Down A Troll In The Best Way Possible!

Our External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj has been out of the internet limelight for quite some time. Until now that is when she blocked Sonam Mahajan, who tweets from the verified Twitter handle called @AsYouNotWish, who asked Swaraj to block her because she was disappointed with her governance.

Confused? Here's a little background that'll help you put things into perspective. There had been a lot of talk and tension surrounding the Regional Passport Office in Lucknow where an employee harassed an inter-faith couple over communal issues. The wife (a Hindu) later took to Twitter to express her anger and bring up the incident to Sushma Swaraj. And it paid off because the Passport Seva Kendra official in Lucknow was transferred for the alleged harassment and the couple of given their passports without any further hiccups.

Two days ago, the twitter handle @WeUttarPradesh tweeted this, "The regional passport officer canceled the adverse report and gave clearance to passports for Tanvi and Anas Siddiqui."

Needless to say, the minister's actions have received applause and abuse alike. And the twitter trolling has been incessant. But the one that caught the minister's attention and everyone else's was by Sonam Mahajan.

And then, this happened!

What a great way to shut someone up, right? Just click and then.. BLOCK. Way to go Sushma Ji!

And while this response was simpler than most, the trolling that the External Affairs Minister had received was extreme. She even took out a poll on twitter and decided to ask the audience if trolling someone would do any justice.

She also said that language was of utmost importance when offering criticism.

And her recent blocking has set Twitter on fire. While some say it was a wise thing to do, others think that it was immature and irresponsible of her to respond in that fashion.

What about you guys? Do you think her reaction was just and mature or was it just an easy escape?
