SRK’s Beautiful Post On His 26 Years In B-Town Has Got Us Feeling Nostalgic AF

Our one and only King Khan, SRK completed 26 years in the Bollywood last month and it feels like we were watching DDLJ or Baadshah only yesterday. But, now it’s 2018 and we’ve come a long way with SRK and it’s been a beautiful journey!

SRK posted a video a few hours ago on his Instagram handle talking about all the good times throughout these amazing 26 years. He starts by talking about the tv series Fauji and then about Baazigar.

“It’s been 26 years and I have learned a lot in this roller coaster ride of love, hate and sometimes sadness,” says Shahrukh as he further goes on talking about his timeline in the movie industry.

Then he goes onto talking about his hit film in 1995, DDLJ and said that “Raj taught me ‘love’ like it did to everyone else.” Two years after that in 1997 his son Aryan Khan was born and he jokes saying that he was delivered by a stork (though he is old enough to know how he was born).

In 1999, as his hit, Baadshah released he says, “The one I wear like a crown even to this day. I hope I’m worthy of it for the rest of my life.”

As he talks about his daughter, Suhana Khan he uses the words love, pleasantness, and happiness. During that time he also realizes the importance of risk-taking and the beauty of fatherhood.

Talking about the remarkable film, Chak De! India SRK said, “2007 allowed me to show my love for my country on the big screen. That was the proudest film I’ve done. Where I could hold my head up high and say ‘Chakde, Chakde India’.”

Being the affectionate man he is, SRK also included the loss of a father figure which was supposedly his make-up man, Ravi Indulkar who passed away in 2012.

Visited by the stork again in 2013 he says, “I was visited by the stork again with my beautiful angel AbRam.”

Leaving us with his new movie, Zero that will be released in December where he will be playing a vertically challenged person.

He says, “Still standing tall with all of your love. From Ram to Don to Raees. Thanks for loving me so much. 26 years now, which is half my lifetime, aur abhi bhi aisa lagta hai ki picture abhi baaki hai mere dost. Zero se shuru karte hain.”

Congratulations SRK on completing these tremendous 26 years and all the best for many more to come!
