Did anybody see Kangana Ranaut’s hair and makeup look at the India Couture Week last night? She walked the ramp for designer Anju Modi’s collection titled A Maiden’s Prayer. The collection featured rich and heavy fabrics, large puffy sleeves, flowy gowns and printed lehengas all inspired by the regal Victorian era.
Anju Modi’s collection on Day 1 of India Couture Week 2018 featured Kangana Ranaut as the showstopper. She was dressed head to toe in Victorian bridal chic. I’m absolutely amazed at how effortlessly she pulled off the look. There was this gorgeous regal vibe about her. Dressed in a dull gold lehenga paired with a red embroidered Victorian style jacket, Kangana looked every little bit like a Victorian dream!
Her hair alone took you back to the Victorian era.
Her makeup done by Lovleen Ramchandani was pretty muted except for her eyes. Her eyes were the focal point of the entire look with a green-gold toned smokey eye. Her hair was perfectly in sync with modern Victorian chic. Kangana wore her hair down with loose curls on the ends. The front of her hair was blow-dried to give it oodles of volume and then held together at the back with elegant floral buns.
