Janhvi Kapoor’s first film, Dhadak, released on 20th July and while the audience may have given it mixed reviews, Bollywood was all praises for it. Also starring Ishaan Khattar, the movie is a remake of the Marathi hit, Sairat. Her family was eagerly awaiting her debut and in a recent interview, Janhvi disclosed that the screening of Dhadak left her father, Boney Kapoor, in tears.
“Papa saw the film a month ago and as soon as the screening was over, he went to the temple. That night he came to my room and held me tight and started crying,” the actress shared.
Janhvi’s younger sister, Khushi, was spotted crying at the trailer launch and Janhvi admitted, “Both of us were in shock. In my entire life, I’ve probably seen her crying only two or three times. So, we just hugged each other, and she said ‘I don’t know why I’m crying’. It was a very special moment.”
Now that Janhvi has made her debut, we are eagerly looking forward to Khushi’s probable big break.
