Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 is making all the right noise ever since Ekta Kapoor has made an announcement about this reboot on Twitter.

We are super excited to know who will play whom in this sequel. Erica Fernandes, the Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi actress has been roped in for the role of Prerna Basu, who was played by Shweta Tiwari in the prequel. According to the grapevine, Angad Bedi, Mohit Raina, and Shaheer Sheikh are reportedly being considered for the role of Anurag Basu that was essayed by Cezanne Khan. Also, if gossipmongers are anything to be believed, Karan Wahi has been approached to play the role of Mr. Bajaj that was essayed by Ronit Roy.
Last what we heard was that the infamous vamp Komolika was going to be played by Reyhna Pandit. Guess they’ve found someone even better. Rumours are rife that small screen queen Hina Khan has been approached to essay the role of Komolika, a role that became iconic because of Urvashi Dholakia’s impeccable performance.
Ekta Kapoor took to Twitter to share that she’s only approached one actress to play Komolika.

Hina Khan has an incredible fan following kudos to her stellar acting talent and great looks. Hoping she is finalised by the makers of the show because she sure can do justice to the role.
